International enforceability of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation and other countries of the former Soviet Union

The author touches upon some up-to-date issues of the international cooperation, that are an important component of the system providing the territorial integrity of the countries: international legalization of the state border of the neighboring states as a pledge of the safe surface marking line with the help of the international facilities; changes in accordance with the international law of crossing the state border; international legal opposition to the separatism as one of the main sources of destruction of the state territorial integrity; international cooperation in the sphere of the protection of the state border that enables to coordinate the states cooperation; state territorial integrity control as a part of functioning of the system of international security aimed at the prevention and neutralization of external threats.
