In the article there analyzed federal legislation and enacted in its development subnormative legal acts of the Russian Federation, which carry out legal regulation of questions of security of the subjects of the Russian Federation, i.e. regional security. The activities of public authorities of Moscow in this area are covered. Proposed changes and additions to the federal law from 28.12.2010 "On security".
