Counterespionage activity and criminal investigation of the Federal security service bodies (correlation and legal regulation)

In the article there reviewed the questions of correspondence of the counterespionage activity to the criminal investigation as kinds of state activity, that is regulated by the Russian Federation law. There suggested some ways of distinguishing between these kinds of activity and the counterespionage and criminal investigation measures as their constituent parts. There formulated the main problems connected with the legal regulation, aimed at the maintenance of security in the Russian Federation.
