Legal education as a method of prevention of wrongdoing

The national absence of legal knowledge is a fertile ground for corruption and different kinds of crime. In the article the results of a successful regional purpose-oriented program "improving Orlov region legal culture in 2007-2009" are summarized: the number of crime and wrongdoings in the region decreased, a chain of legal information centers of the regional purpose-oriented program was created , the legal education of teachers and parents is taking place.
